Brian May

Date of birth

19 July 1947

Brian May is a founding member, guitarist and songwriter. His official profile documents writing contributions including We Will Rock You and Who Wants to Live Forever. The profile also records his scientific interests and his return to complete a doctorate in astrophysics. Our editorial route follows the writing across albums rather than reducing his role to a single guitar sound. Where a later individual account differs from a public band credit, the archive keeps both scopes visible.
