Editorial perspective

Battle Theme occupies position 13 in the identified Flash Gordon programme. It follows Vultan's Theme (Attack Of The Hawk Men). The next work is The Wedding March. Read that placement alongside the album perspective: Flash Gordon is part of Queen's studio catalogue and a soundtrack, so its many short cues need a different reading from a conventional collection of songs. The archive retains their order rather than merging them into one generic entry. As an editorial route, use the opening Flash's Theme and closing The Hero as points of reference, then follow the intermediate titles.
