Innuendo occupies position 1 in the identified Innuendo programme. It opens this programme. The next work is I'm Going Slightly Mad. Read that placement alongside the album perspective: The album's UK release came in February 1991. The official chronology places Freddie Mercury's death in November that year; those dates must remain distinct. Our editorial reading avoids turning every song into a prediction of what followed.
